providing ‘Fun Football For All’ since 1994
Welcome to the Surrey Primary League
The purpose of this League Competition is to provide an enjoyable experience for children between the ages of 6 and 18 years through playing the game of football in a competitive but sporting and fair manner, in accordance with the Competition Rules as set out by the Football Association Standard Code of Rules.
The general ethos of the League being that everyone be it players, spectators or officials shall enjoy the experience of participating, that everyone is aware that unsporting behaviour and inappropriate conduct is not tolerated and that child welfare is of the utmost importance.
From humble beginnings we now boast a membership of approximately 500 teams with more than 6500 players registered to play. From our ranks have emerged professional (and even international) players but, first and foremost, the emphasis has always been to provide a safe, fun and encouraging environment.
We aim to give our members the best possible experience and welcome any feedback, comments and suggestions that can improve our service.
SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY
Keeping children safe in football
We take the safety of our players seriously and expect all our members to do the same. Safeguarding procedures must be followed at all times - from ensuring DBS checks are in place to raising a concern.
